[Harp-L] Jam Tracks

Hi Sam and Ken,

I have a really big collection of Jam Tracks, or Backup Tracks as some people call them. I think Jam Tracks is an excellent way to present yourself as a harmonica player. With Jam tracks, you can learn and rehearse a tune without having to depend on other musicians. With Jam Tracks, you can quickly put on an entire performance. Great for the coffee house open-mic scene, as opposed to the bar/band/jam scene.

Without a doubt, the very best are the three Steve Baker Playalong books/CD, that Ken mentioned. I tried hard to come up with something good with all the other materials I have, but since I am a relative beginner, the only backup tracks that actually worked for me was the Steve Baker stuff.

I started to play the harmonica just 2 1/2 years ago, and using Baker's materials I think I was able to progress very quickly.

I made three videos of me playing Baker's tunes on my YouTube channel.

I am also working on "Afroinspiration", right now. It is an awesome song. Stay tuned...
