Re: [Harp-L] Re: Memphis trip
Went to Memphis last May and had a blast, got to play harp at Handy Park as
a sit in. Too many places on Beale St. to not find one you like. As the
sign said on one joint "Last beer for 30 feet". When you get there ask away for
off the beaten path places and you will find them. Watch the bad areas
though and take a cab. Great ribs at Blues City Cafe too.

The "hi-Tone" on Poplar Ave. across from Overton Park is sort of off the

And I agree, you will likely find something interesting on Beale St. If
the weather is nice, check out WC Handy Park.
