RE: [Harp-L] RE: Harp Depot
hi all,
i feel i need to comment on mail orders from the intenet,,, i have been buying harps for many years at a store in new jersey(sold me many harps on the email and never had many problems), the one time i did they made it good and actually sent me a free harp worth about 25 bucks.... a great response,,,, with ebay i never had any problems that couldn't be settled easy, so i do think ebay is a great service and has great deals( used harps may need work so watch what you do there).....my worst experience was trying to buy hot tub parts,,,,they back order stuff so they can use your money and they do not give you real access to customer service,,in the end you waste so much energy that the buying process becomes a frustrating joke....my suggestion is to go straight to your credit card company and dispute the charge...it usually sends them a message that can hurt their income real fast and you get credit pretty quick,, the people on the phone know the system and the internet
compaints do not get reviewed,,, so the best thing is to not use anyone except merchants that are referred by someone you know...just like hiring a contractor or picking a dentist....take care... joe g

I've seen too many complaints on this and other harmonica forums from
numerous individuals (I doubt they were all outside the US) in the past
year against this one particular vendor (and don't remember any
complaints against any others) to believe this.
