Alarcon seems to fall apart a bit after he gets into the tune - like he wants to revert to playing the tune in C instead of A.
While Garrido is a professional musician, Alarcon is a popular telenovela actor who clearly likes playing the harmonica and is probably pretty good, but perhaps is not seasoned playing harp for audiences and lost his nerve a bit.
Garrido shows some influence from Hugo Diaz.

Garrido and one by Garrido with Pablo Alarcon. The second is a version of
El Choclo that strikes me as pretty sloppy, but the first tune is really
quite good.
