"...Howard Levy is a revelation; there are times when it is hard to
believe he is playing only a harmonica, for he has the expressive
range and depth of a saxophonist."
-- Geoff Dyer, The London Observer, March 1994
HOWARD LEVY will be back in New York City from March 20-22, where he
will be playing along with the "progressive" string quartet ETHEL at
Symphony Space, doing some sessions work and giving a harmonica
workshop (for workshop info contact: Zvi Aranoff
<zviaranoff@xxxxxxxxx>), as well as this special performance at the
Baggott Inn, which will be the start of a tour of East Coast dates
which will include Philadelphia, Oneonta, and Washington DC.

Also appearing along with Howard at the Baggott Inn and the other concerts,

different styles. Hailing from Chicago, he works as a freelance
journeyman writing for theatre, producing, singing, and collaborating
with some of the world's finest musicians, recording and performing
with the likes of Paul McCartney, Michael Brecker, Howard Levy, Daryl
Jones and others. Chris's Chicago-based fusion project 'Kick the Cat'
has recorded three CD's to critical praise. Chris has been
collaborating with Howard Levy for five years as both a member of
Howard's "Acoustic Express" and as a foil for many duet performances.
