Spring Harp Fest IX
Musicians Standing Together To Make A Difference
  


The 9th annual Spring Harp Fest is scheduled for Saturday, March 22, 2008,
11 a.m. - 6 p.m. at Harry Griffen Park in La Mesa, CA. (behind Grossmont
High School). 
This free, outdoor, family-friendly event features performances by some of
Southern California's finest harmonica players and other local musicians.

Spring Harp Fest IX benefits the Boys and Girls Club as well as the Jessie
Polinsky Children's Center. Previous Harp Fests resulted in donations of
harmonicas, guitars, and keyboards and facilitated the hiring of music
teachers to help the boys and girls learn the joy of playing music.

Organizers are currently seeking donations of cash and musical instruments
as well any other donated items for use in a Silent Auction, and/or
