[Harp-L] Jeff Carp

Nice to see Jeff Carp mentioned and his accomplishments being kept alive. I first heard his playing on the Howling Wolf's London Sessions album with his playing mixed way down. I bought the album for Clapton but stayed for Wolf, Jeff, and Hubert Sumlin. He also did a nice album with John Lee Hooker in the late 60s. Another great under -appreciated player. Anyone out there up for adding to a list of under -rated under- heard players? In addition to Jeff I will start by nominating Ron Sorin (Big Shoulders, Ken Saydeck ), Jody Noa (local Chicago fav in the Jr. Wells style, and gone from this earth too soon), Dave Waldman ( as mentioned by Mick) and Big Leon Brooks.
