[Harp-L] Another take on Cables and Tone

I understand Mason is out doing some movie work on the West Coast  
after his time in Europe. Interestingly I remember Rod telling me to  
use a specific cable with his mike when I bought one from him a decade  
ago. Anyway to your point: Right on. I have indeed switched to the  
cord with lower clarity here and there for effect (admittedly not that  
different but nevertheless different). My larger point though is it  
actually (to my ears) just purified the organic tone of the mike  
rather than make it less funky, raspy, etc. At the end of the day  
though with terrific tone likes yours Trip it's not going to be worth  
the difference in cord price. d
