[Harp-L] New Harmonicas pitures and more!
I have posted some pictures at photobucket
of the B-Radikal that Brad sent me months ago.
As well as some pics of my own shop and Brad
at work in his shop. I shot these 3 weeks ago
when I was in Chicago building his reed machine.
Unfortunately, I had to come home before it was done
as the machine shop sat on the rotary table for 2
weeks. There are some pics of the partial build though.
Some REAL cool shots of Brads tour of the Suzuki factory.
Laser tuning machines, reed machines, as well as
my own shop with the CNC I built for cutting my Corian combs.
I cant stand the shroud of mystery around customization
so I thought I would share this with everyone.
I would like to post a " how to " on building a reed machine
when I get the time. Its NOT a high budget project no matter
what anyone wants you to believe. A large vertical rotary table,
a HUGE backplate, driven by a 1 H.P.
D.C. motor at 12 R.P.M. And a decent 3 axis table. Couldnt be more simple.
Then all you need is some series #420 3/4 hard brass
1" wide by 0.012 thick and your in business!!
Here is the photobucket link.
