An asymmetric twin triode will unbalance the phase inverter if the phase
inverter uses two triodes. Paraphase (typical 50's PA) and long tailed pair
(typical 6L6 BF, Deluxe Reverb and tweed Bassman Fender) inverters use two
triodes. Cathodyne inverters (tweed Pro, BF Princeton) use one triode. The
asymmetric tube will affect circuits with cathodyne inverters, but not by
unbalancing the PI.
