Hi Jim,
All I can offer is that all the 8, 10, 12 inch speakers in the Valco amps I have heard sound fantastic in those amps for harp. They have been mostly Rola field coil and some Jensen.
All round.
The one recone Weber did on '52 eight inch Jensen AlNiCo speaker sounds great and was used for recording in a little Supro Spectator. All of the speakers I got from Weber I was satisfied with along with Ted being available to help choose.
Please let me know when you build it. I bet it will scream.
Best,
Brian

Anyone have experience with Weber VST 6x9 speakers in a harp amp?
Am thinking about a Sonny Jr 1 style circuit (6L6x2 PP cathode biased
paraphase PI) with three 6x9 speakers in a small cab. I know about
the oval speakers in some Valco amps.
