Because it's a gmail subscription you won't see your posts as separate
from your sent posts.  If someone replies to a post then gmail will thread
the reply and your original post will appear along with the reply.  It's a
quirk of gmail and it makes complete sense if you read how gmail works
which is not like a regular mail program that resides on your own computer
works.

If you're trying to see if your post has made it to harp-l try
www.harp-l.org  click on archives.  Another place to quickly check is
http://groups.google.com/group/harp-l or
http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/harp-l-archives/?v=1&t=search&ch=web&pub=groups&sec=group&slk=1


If you do go to the google group you might want to check out some of the
growing list of sound files there.  Great one with Supro in the title. 
Anyone can download the files.  No need to join unless you want to post
from that interface.

Finally anyone trying to reach the listowner will have much better results
if they use owner-harp-l AT harp-l dot org
