I just received a news release from harp player and vocalist Tom Hall aka Flattop Tom, who has been conducting a swing dance show for many years in California.

By day, he's a high school teacher. On the weekends, he fronts a band that
features swing dancing (jitterbuy type partner dancing) with small big band with
horns and keyboards. He does a pretty decent job of holding down the harp
chair when he's not singing or dancing with his partner.

I think he is a perfect example of a harmonica player creating his own market
with a different product.

This Saturday, Feb 2, Flattop Tom and His Jump Cats will be at Pasadena
Ballroom Dance Assn from 8 pm to 11:30 pm. Located in Fellowship Hall behind
Trinity Lutheran Church at 997 E. Walnut in Pasadena, this weekly swing dance
starts with a free dance lesson at 7:30 pm. $15 admission includes light
refreshments. For more info call 626-799-5689 or visit Be
there or be square!

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you at our
upcoming gigs.
