Re: [Harp-L] What amp did Butterfield use?

i remember that i was the one who saw the amp for sale on ebay it was being sold by someone who was selling it for someone else i guess the guy who had indefinetly borrowed it, very weird! i posted the link on Harp-l to see if someone would know if it was for real and then this whole thing transpired it was pretty cool. not sure but i think Gabe ( Paul Butterfield's son) ended up getting it back

"Just
curious
as
to
what
kind
of
amp
Butterfield
blew"

Ha,
you
were
here
for
the
whole
debacle
a
while
back
where
someone
put
the
amp
up
for
sale
on
ebay!
Check
the
archives,
maybe
even
google,
and
you'll
see
pictures
of
it.

As
a
refresher,
the
amp
was
obtained
under
questionable
circumstances
and
the
butterfield
family
(gabe,
etc)
were
upset
that
it
was
being
sold
and
asked
folks
to
please
not
purchase
it,
at
least
not
without
the
intent
of
returning
it
to
the
rightful
owners.

I
think
it
was
some
deal
where
the
amp
was
loaned
out
and
never
returned
or
something.
the
archives
will
tell
all,
shouldn't
be
hard
to
find
these
threads
with
a
simple
search.
