Jeff, Dan, Ralf, Thank you for your posts.  I will try to check out the 
youtube video.  The Blues Jr. is a bit more touchy w/feedback then my smaller amps, 
so that's why I've been looking into some sort of a compressor and also the 
octave effect as a bonus.
