[Harp-L] Meteor Amp settings

You may recall I recently sold off a couple of smaller amps to help finance the purchase of a bigger amp...well, it looks like things have worked out well for me.
 
I just picked up a new Meteor amp on Ebay (my apologies to the four other guys I out-bidded with seconds winding down).  Can't wait for this thing to arrive.  I have a question for those of you who use this amp.  What are your recommended settings for this amp while playing
 
1)  in your living room/basement? and 
 
2)  in a medium-sized club with a fairly loud band?
 
Also, which mics do you prefer with this amp?  In the past, my workhorse mic with most amps has been a ceramic element JT30, but of course, I will experiment with the Meteor.
