[Harp-L] This looks interesting - Mountable Gig Tray

So I ordered one:

It's a little tray (13 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches) that clamps to a mic stand. It
looks perfect for holidng the harps I know I will need during a set. Sort
of a staging area for my harps after the bigger harp case. It is fairly
small and unobtrusive and it can be right next to me on stage, elevated to a
comfortable level where I don't have to get on my knees to see the harp I
need (I am quite tall).

My very first professional harp gig was playing in the orchestra of a summer
theater in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 1976. (We did 'Paint Your Wagon'
at Dirty Jack's Wild West Theater. I work there two seasons.) One of the
set carpenters built me a little tray for my harps that was fixed to a
column next to my seat. The dimensions of that tray were almost identical
to this gig tray, and it even had the little raised edges to keep my harps
from spilling on the floor. Of course, it was all made of wood, but it had
an uncanny resemblance to this gig tray. I probably ordered it more out of
nostalgia than anything else.

The gig tray has two hooks under the tray which I will probably use to hang
a small Maglite and a small chamois; and maybe other things as need be. It
looks like a very handy little gadget for harp players.
