A friend lent me a recent Mike Dowling CD (Mike is an AMAZING
resonator guitar player -- in fact, National Resophonic has a Mike
Dowling model). Anyway, Grant Dermody who some of you know from his
teaching at Augusta and up in Port Townsend (and from his fine
recording on his solo projects and with The Improbabillies) plays
harp accomp. on a few songs. He gets to really shine on It Hurts Me
Too -- just SOOOO fine -- beautiful tone and phrasing!. I have no
idea if there are ways to hear any of the CD online; but here it is
on the Elderly site, so you can at least see the cover! No
affiliation (just fortunate to have heard both Mike and Grant live --
Monsters!).
