I'm not sure about Islay in particular.  Donald Black's playing features the
Western Isles extensively, but picks tunes from other Celtic areas of
Scotland

Unfortunately I haven't got the sleeve notes to tell me what comes from
where.


He mostly plays Tremolo harp, and in particular is the inspiration for the
Hohner "Highlander".  He keeps a pad by when playing, to moisten the
mouthpiece, and claims it often features a dram....
