Subject: [Harp-L] how do I become a real pro?
hello list:
all of my friends and family think I have that special "it" quality
with my
harmonica and I have decided that I want to quit my job and become a
famous
harmonica player. can you please tell me how do I do this? and can you
please tell me maybe what style whould be best to do it in maybe
something
where I don't have to sing. I can play just about anything on my 10
holer. I
was playing some sanborn music today and I my girl says I'm very good at
that style. I am totally serious about this. I even played some for
Jason
Ricci at one of his shows and he said I should do it too. I asked Jason
Ricci for the steps to become famous and he said he's not famous so I
have
to ask somebody else and maybe this forum. all I want to know is how to
become famous. thank you. gg

Once upon a time a princess walked down her garden path. Amidst the roses
she spied a frog.
"Pick me up, please," the frog said.
Astonished, the princess picked up the frog and held him in her dainty palm.
"Dear princess,' the frog said, "once I was a famous harmonica player, acing
Little Walter inflection for inflection. James Cotton and Charlie
Musselwhite quailed in fear at the very mention of my name, so awesome were
my skills. But a wicked witch has cast a spell upon me, and only the kiss of
a princess can restore me to being a famous harmonica player again. So
princess, I bessech you, please kiss me."
"Naaah," said the princess, and dropped the frog into her silken purse.
"Princess, why will you not help me?" the frog cried in despair from within
the confines of the royal purse.
With a cuel laugh, the princess replied, "I can make more money with you as
a talking frog than as a lousy harmonica player."
