[Harp-L] Open- or Closed-Back Cabinets?

Is there a consensus on which style of cabinet is better for traditional
amplified blues harp - played with a bullet mic into a tube amplifier? The
open back cab offers higher efficiency and a bigger bottom end, while a
closed cab is more accurate (at least that is the old-school rule of
thumb). It seems most good harp combo amps are semi open-back.

Is there a good reason to NOT use a closed cabinet for amped blues harp?
