[Harp-L] International Blues Competition in Memphis

I've been part of the competition in Memphis in the past, but this year I 
drove a big tour bus down from Michigan with two Michigan bands, and their 
friends and families. This event is a lot more fun to go as just a fan. When 
you compete, you have schedules and details to attend to, and you mostly 
just see the other acts in your room. It's a great experience to compete, 
but there is so much live entertainment going on within a few blocks it was 
run to just roam around and take it all in. I had time to visit Stax Museum, 
Sun Studio, and Rock & Soul museum, and made a lot of new friends. Memphis 
had such an effect on the music I love, and it's still a huge inspiration. 
I'm already planning next year's trip.
