Greetings folks. I have three precious vinyl lp's that when I figure it
out, will put them on my hard drive and "burn" them myself I am sure
everyone here must have some wonderful rarities, maybe for contractual
reasons, never got pressed. Here are my collectables:
1: John Sebastian (Puglisi) Plays Bach
This is a Columbia Vinyl from a very under rated
classical harmonica and the father of John Sebastian
Jr. (Loving Spoonfuls Welcome back soundtrack)
Wonderful playing. I believe he came around the same
time as Larry Adler. Winslow could provide much
better details than I can.
2: "Shakey" Shakey Walter Horton The Soul of Blues
Harmonica
This is the only recording Horton made on Chess.
Great versions of "Hard Hearted Women" and La
Cucaracha and great sidemen including Willie
Dixon, Lafayette Leake and Buddy Guy.
3: Muddy Waters Live at Mr. Kelly's
This is the only other recording that includes Paul
"Brooklyn Slim" Osher. The other, "Electric Mud" is
some sort of Psychedelic experiment that is not to my
taste. At least here, you really experience Paul at his
best
That's my list folks. I am sure there are so many others I am
not aware of.
James
