Re: [Harp-L] Run through the Jungle
Hi
We used to play that one in a band years ago, and I really enjoyed it - seemed like the only time we could hold the drummer down to a groove. Deceptively simple, but the two main challenges relate to the fact that it's at least 99 per cent draw notes: 1) give a full expell of air immediately after the lowest note in the phrase and 2) try to avoid a gliss down from the 4 draw on your way to the 2 draw. Try to skip over the 3 draw - you'll probably catch a little of it anyway (unless you tongue-switch) and that will be the right amount. Good luck on a cool tune.
Cheers,
Staggerin' Jim

Subject: [Harp-L] Run through the Jungle
Working on the harp part in CCR's --Run through the Jungle---any suggestions from those who play that song?
