Re: Subject: [Harp-L] Harp and Sax
This is live cut from decades ago with sax on a charlie parker tune. http://www.buddhasgarden.net/index.php?topic=1234.0

Michael Peloquin (who plays both, actually)...but playing his sax at Jason
Ricci's harp blow-off in Milwaukee for the opening of SPAH, 2007....called up
many harp players to accompany him...
there are a few videos, perhaps some audiotapes available?
Michael also plays Saxophone on one of the cuts on Jason's new Rocker No.9
CD.
He's equally adept on both Sax and harmonica...and sings as well.
Multi-talented guy...has a myspace site and is a harp-l member. He's one of those I
want to play like when I grow up.

I'm about to get involved in a new project with harp, sax and possibly
Hammond organ doing mostly instrumentals and jazzy blues. My question to you
all
is can anyone point me to recorded examples of sax and harp playing
together
in either unison, harmony, counterpoint or all of the above?
Thanks from snowy Chicago,
