I had the pleasure of meeting Rick at David Barrett's seminar in San Jose  
last May.  He admitted that he has unorthodox way of holding the harp when  he 
plays acoustically.  Check out this clip at about the 1:30 mark.   It works for 
him and he gets great wa-wa effects.  Of course, his  cigar-style playing at 
2:00 is totally sick.  He's bending notes , for  chrissakes!.
