[Harp-L] Sjoeberg Comb Design

I don't have one, but looking at the picture, I was intrigued by the  
design:  The protrusions to the right in each channel opening on the  
comb and the non-symmetrical curvature inside each channel which  
appears to be a little more pronounced in the highest  8 holes.   
Anyone know what these design features do?

The protrusion sort of reminds of something Rick Epping was  
describing in a post not long ago where he talked about putting a  
small wedge in the of the comb channels for the high holes, but this  
appears to be in a completely different position.
