If you could get replacement reed plates though and keep the comb etc that 
would cut the cost down.  Personally I would rather pay more for a comb and 
cover plates and have them of a better quality and then replace reeds rather 
than having to throw the harp away.  Otherwise it's like buying a guitar and 
having to throw it away every time the strings need replacing, which is 
crazy I reckon.

Go on Steve, get Hohner to bring out a super Golden melody with a choice of 
high qualilty combs thicker reed plates and heavier guage cover plates and 
make it easier to get hold of individual reeds
