[Harp-L] Blues, musical journeys and the harmonica.

My thoughts, for what they are worth.

A friend of mine is a magician and he loves the simple, mechanical illusions
that are stock-in-trade for birthday parties and street festivals. His
magician buddies look down on these and revere more technical,
sleight-of-hand illusions. He knows how to do those, but does not like
performing them as often. He has explored other styles, cultural differences
in magic and knows much of the history of his craft. But he prefers the
"simple" tricks. He used to fret about this quite a bit.
Took awhile to convince him just to do what he enjoyed doing, but do it
well.
