yep me too. the short slot explanation sounds like a good one. i always thought it was the songs and band i played that key with mostly. last practice, after a song with that harp, the lead guitarist turned to me and said "MAN, you are gonna blow that thing up if you keep playing like that!" he was half talking about the rippin' solo and half about how hard i was playing... the very next song, it blew 4 draw.
so now i have a new 1847 Silver in D. at the price of those, i'll make myself play softer! glad to hear they are a long slot D. i still only blow out a harp every year or so, but it's usually D.Shawnhttp://code29band.comhttp://www.myspace.com/bosqueblues
