Those of us that are old enough can recall the day that the term "Made in

What kind of car do *you* drive?
Last time I looked in the driveway I saw a Subaru."
I am old enough to remember "made in Japan", I also remember in the mid to
late 70's when the American auto workers were being put out of work
because of the "gas shortage" and the Japanese invasion of low cost and
high gas efficiant automobiles were coming into the US like the country
had sprung a leak........I even remember some of those same auto workers
purchasing those same Japanese automobiles and having them turned over in
the parking lot at work by out of work auto workers........
Granted we have a WORLD economy and we NEED one.......that doesn't give
anyone in the world permission to use slave labor and use harmful
components and materials in products.....period.
My Ford truck was assembled in KY, where the components came
from.......who knows........but I don't stick my truck in my
mouth.........just my foot most of the time..............
