Hey Winslow,

I use the TLM 103 all the time; very good mic and records everything  
well.  The TLM 103 is brighter than the U87 and not quite the depth,  
but for harmonica, you won't be able to tell the difference after  
EQ.  The Rode is not on the same Pro level - the tube mic that  
everyone is going nuts over in the studios is the Sputnik.
