Locally in Central Fl, I'm working w/bass player that got a call to record  
w/Justin Timberlake at his home studio. He did a great job, plays well, carries 
 himself professionally. Justin Timberlake's "handlers" were putting together 
a  band to back him up on tour. Naturally, this bass player wanted in..
 
He was told by the "handlers" - You play great. However, you are not BLACK  
enough looking for the project. We are putting together a BLACK back up band of 
 dark color so that Justin will really stand apart in front of the band. It 
has  to look good on stage and on video. That is our first priority. 
Musicianship is  the second priority.

it's  like you have to be able to sing last, no 1 you must look good in a 
video or  on camera so they can sell the image of you.  hard to understand and
