Some countries have more than one anthem. Canada counts both O Canada and God Save the Queen. While the Star Spangled Banner is the official US anthem, My Country 'tis of Three (i.e. God Save the Queen with different words) seems to have equal unofficial status, while America, America seems to hold a place of equal reverence.
So perhaps national anthems official and unofficial number in the thousands, not just the hundreds, and some of them are probably great harp tunes.
