RE: [Harp-L] New Blog: Blues Harp Amps
I was really digging some of this until I got to the part where one of
our members completely trashes another one of our members and their
products. Then I closed the page and probably won't go back, if that's
the kind of hateful stuff that will be there. There are much better ways
to express your feelings about a product with out doing that to someone
that's trying to make a living. Especially when there is a huge amount
of public opinion that completely counters what you are saying about the
products. We already went through this with people opening themselves up
to lawsuits in the other thread, which hopefully is closed, these
comments seem to invite that.
I won't go to other harp discussion areas that seem to feed on hating
and trashing other people, so I'll add this one to the list if it's
going to have that sort of stuff on it. What does that have to do with
harp-l? Just a fair warning to others who might feel the same way before
you invest much time there. Kudos to fjm and anyone else that works hard
to keep some civility here, it's a nice place to hang out, which is
probably why it's been so successful. Other sites may draw folks
temporarily due to the "shock factor", but this here is the bomb.
