I thought the same thing, though I actually TOOK a semester or two of
Japanese in college (1969). I was practicing to become a Zen monk. All I
ended up doing was monkeying around on the harmonica.

I did find a way to get through to  the "Engrish" portion of the Tombo site,
however. Just click on the Tombo name in the upper left, and then click
where it says "english" down below.

Maybe I'll find the clip and post it here.
