Re: Re: [Harp-L] Austin and ACL

Guy went to the Austin City Limits *Festival*, a two and a half day
long event that features dozens of bands, many playing
simultaneously at different stages around a large, outdoor venue.
This is not the same as the nationally syndicated Austin City Limits
program, which is taped in a live studio performance and aired
later. The two are produced by the same people, but that's where
the similiarity ends. ACL Festival has been going on for about six
years, and seems to get better every year, though anyone who spends
a couple of days outdoors in a park in central Texas in late August-
early September should have their head examined. This year was
relatively nice because we had a lot of rain through the summer and
it was relatively temperate (low 90s). In past years they've had
100-degree-plus dustbowls.

Oh, yeah, Gary Clark Jr. is the real deal. If you don't know about
him already, you will: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVHr6RalZwc
