Paul,
Here's what you can do as I've done it many times instead of taping all the
way around. The object is to keep down the handling noise, right? Add a
little spot of silicone, non-B.O. smellin' kind, on the side where your palm
touches the mic....more than one place works too. It'll stabilize the grill
section and leave the opening where your right hand does the cupping.
