RE: [Harp-L] microtrack to audacity to LAME MP3 decoder to itunes help?

[I sent an offlist reply to Ross with instructions, but thought others on the list might benefit too.]

Obtain the lame_enc.dll file.  (I use the link on http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3, which ultimately takes you to http://lame.buanzo.com.ar/.  FYI, DLL files aren't the kind of thing you want to use from just any random source.)  Copy the lame_enc.dll file to the Audacity\App\LAME\ directory. 
(Probably not necessary to be in that folder, but that's where mine
is.)  Then from the Audacity menu bar, select EDIT then PREFERENCES
then FILE FORMATS tab then FIND LIBRARY button then browse to where you
saved lame_enc.dll.  Click OPEN then OK and you should be good to go.
