Re: [Harp-L] Clips with delay and reverb?

Mike,

The tracks aren't really what you would call distorted harp. But they may give you an idea.

This clip is played with an analog delay

If you go here and navigate to the music page, then click on music and click on "PPH Boogie" that is played with reverb

Both tracks use a crystal element in the mic.
The YouTube clip is into a 7-100 Pignose
The PPH Boogie Track is into a Laney LC15

Personally I prefer delay.

Does anybody have any amped clips with reverb? How
about delay?

I don't have a very good ear for effects and want to
hear how a distorted harp sounds with both. I've
always used delay set up for a slap back echo. From
my understanding delay makes an insturment sound
bigger, whereas reverb makes you sound like you're in
a large room.

I guess I want to hear the difference and decide if I
prefer one over the other.

Thanks!
