exactly my reaction and I didn't have the time or
energy to post it. Just my opinion and not in a mean
spirited sense either.
On another subject, those guys from Montreal playing
Little Walter material in an outdoor gazebo, so easy
to close your eyes and see a dark juke joint, very
nice.
....and finally, just tonight I picked up an old
Columbia
record player from the trash on the curb. I always
have an eye out for such things and couldn't wait to
get it home to look inside. Sure enough, it's a tube
amp with a four inch speaker, four tubes, and it
works. Will research it tonight right after I send
this. It's model 617 and in a nice case. Now I only
have two more things to find on the curb and my life
will be complete. An old real to real tape recorder
with amp and a 60's
tube amp.
