Re: [Harp-L] RE: Rockers in the Rockies
I don't post much, but just wanted to re- re-emphasize along with this thread.
As a self-taught player, I was a bit reluctant to go to a "harmonic event". People like Buzz and Brian, (and a host of others) really made me feel welcome. There were no ego trips or BS, just a lot of harp nerds genuinely enjoying the instrument and one another.
On the subject of Jason and recent posts. I think people gush about him because it's impossible not to. Jason makes everyone around him feel special and that's a rare quality. Couple that with his harmonica virtuosity, and a harp-nerd like me can't stop spouting praise.

Buzz is right when he says that the talent there was nothing less than highly impressive. Buzz had 'em all going with Hoochie Coochie man on the last day during the instructors jam. As I always do I have met some really great people and many of them will be friends for life. Thanks to Jason, the band, the teachers, the students and of course Brady for all the hard work. You guys all did a killer job.
