Unsolicited testimonial:
The A1 element in Steve's (Dr. of Fat) Thunderharp mic has a great sound with my SJ 410 and with a SJ410 I play through here.
I also like a strong R7 element, the EV 920 crystal, some Astatic crystals and various CM and CRT elements.
I have custom builds from Dennis O. (Mr.Microphone) and Greg Heuman who are both highly recommended.
When I travel or take one mic, it is always the Thunderharp mic. It is an easy decision.
Steve Warner has been reliable, affable, knowledgeable and very cool in all my dealings with him.
I have used it through all my Valcos, Fender, Danelectro and it sounded great with my budddies Kalamazoo.
I can dial in treble/highs with this mic on amps that have tone controls.
For blues, rock, jazz- it is my favorite mic (because of the element).
Thanks,
Brian
