Re: [Harp-L] Contempory African harmonica players?

For all that matters, where in the Spanish speaking world is the harmonica popular? Brazil = Portuguese.
As far as I know, Portuguese is not Spanish.
In Argentina, harmonica has been used in many genres (tango, folklore,
pop, rock, blues), so we could say it has entered into the argentinian
popular music. Check http://www.mundoarmonica.com to find out about our
local harp players.
Then, if we are about to discuss "popularity", neither the violin nor
the harp are "popular".
