Paypal is a little cheaper and doesn't require merchant accounts or special software to use -- simple html buttons can be used to sell items. With a regular merchant account there are some up front costs involved and you probably need a dedicated shopping cart. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about the various processes. I sell things online and have written online shopping carts.
