You have to ask what will be the audition requirements.
If they are minimum beware. Many private art schools are easy to get in to
but not easy to gradaute from.
I suggest going to a community college and get a strong background first.
Piano, theory, harmony and ear training are good to have a jump on before
you start in a big college like berkley

On June 6th Hendrik Meurkens will give a Masterclass at Berklee College of Music in Boston as a preview of his Jazz Harmonica teaching concept and his Brazilian Jazz Ensembles.
Berklee will be offering Jazz Harmonica studies with Hendrik Meurkens starting Fall of 2007.
