since this thread still continues: also inexpicably forgot to mention
additional fabulous ,distinctive, tone-sweet, technically big league, and
highly listenable diatonic players rj mischo, humongous pat ramsey, corky
siegel, and others. also i forgot to mention john popper for pure rock and
roll hootchie-coo. and chris michalek for rising above the "new school" and
still sounding very good to me. mike peloquin's harp cd comes highly
recommended in general, some fine songs there no doubt.
it is possible that i may have left off one or so truly astonishingly
accomplished diatonic player(s), whom shall remain nameless in the interests
of propriety because of the often, but by no means always " hard to listen
to" tone problem .
