Hi Randy,
thanks for the very interesting link! I am a fan of musical controllers and
the possibilities that digital electronic music offers.
This project seems to be very versatile and quite thought of, and the
modular concept is very intriguing. Also the fact that the architecture is
planned to be open is a great thing, as it doesn't hold you ransom to
solutions from only one vendor.
The only thing that should be clear to all is that this will not, by any
means, be a type of electronic harmonica. You will not be able to use your
current harmonica playing technique to play this instrument, which will need
a completely different technique. This is not bad, and the new playing
interface, based on concepts derived from harmonica playing sound
interesting. But it will be, definetely, a completely new instrument.
