Re: [Harp-L] Re: Carey Bell passed away

I had the privilege of hearing and meeting Carey Bell a few years ago in a tiny blues club here in the midwest. I had a chance to talk with him for a few minutes after his last set and he was very gracious. Especially when you consider he was talking to an old white guy who probably didn't give the impression that blues was part of his heritage. I found a Carey Bell album early in my harmonica searchings, probably 25 or more years ago. It was good then and now I'm going to dig it out and get it on my computer.

This saddens me too!Â
I'll pay tribute to him on my Blues radio programme.Â
A true legend.Â
