If you're buying used, I'd stay away from the blackface Fender  
Bandmaster and Bassman.A lot of money for a mediocre amp.If you buy a  
twin, bear in mind the thing weighes nearly a hundred pounds. Nice  
amp. I like the Pro Reverb. It's a little lighter (a mere eighty  
pounds). Sounds really nice with an SM 57. When I hit the big time I'm  
buying one of Sonny's new amps.It's a shame it doesn't come in tuck  
and roll and roll vinyl.

Also if you buy a blackface bassman or bandmaster the odds are good  
you're getting an amp head and a speaker cabinet. This is good for  
weight, you can make two trips, but if you should space out and turn  
the amp on without the speaker connected...kiss your amp goodbye.
